Goals
The Foundation’s development goals are based on 3 main pillars:
(1) Rescue Centre:
Implement and operate a sustainable rescue center, (rehabilitation/recovery/training) for domestically abused/tortured children.
(2) Awareness and Prevention:
Develop and deliver awareness programs, tools and information and mobilize the local population in preventing domestic violence against children.
(3) Economic Empowerment/Behavioural Change:
Provide rehabilitation programs such as:
Therapy and workshops to foster behavioural changes, Anger management aimed at the parents/caretakers of the children admitted to the Foundation’s Rescue Centre.
Provide practical and permanent means to rehabilitated parents/caretakers to ensure they are more economically self-sufficient and can therefore take care of their family’s basic needs.
